About

Endnotes is the annual student-run graduate conference of the University of British Columbia Department of English. Endnotes aims to create a welcoming and collegial environment for collaboration on vital themes across disciplines, focusing on the development of graduate-level creative and academic works.

This year’s theme, “Metamorphoses: Mementos and Futurities,” incites conversation on the outcomes and aftershocks of moments of transformation.

Endnotes takes place on UBC’s Point Grey Campus, which is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) people. The conference will run from May 4-5, 2018. Final schedule and venue are currently pending, but will be announced well in advance.
